Tomorrow marks yet another anniversary of an important milestone on the road to a fully accessible Ontario for over 1.8 million people with disabilities. Ten years ago tomorrow, on October 12, 2004, the Ontario Government under Premier Dalton McGuinty, introduced Bill 118 into the Legislature for First Reading. This is the bill which, once passed in May 2005, became the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
