I am a real estate agent with Royal Lepage ProAlliance Realty in Cobourg, Ontario and have listed for sale a wonderful home that has been retrofitted for wheelchair accessibility. 4 Bedrooms ( the 3 bedrooms and one bathroom on the upper floor have not been retrofitted ) 2 1/2 baths. Remote control auto entry doors, elevator, wood & ceramic flooring, remote air conditioning, wheelchair lift, intercom system, wheelchair accessible washrooms & shower, front and rear ramps. Cobourg is not a large community and, admittedly, we do not see homes with these features very often. In fact, both my wife and I have been selling homes in Northumberland County for 21 years and this is the first with this array of unique features that we have listed for sale.
