There is good information out there on how to start an accessibility advisory committee. You dont have to reinvent the wheel. All municipalities have been sent a book by the government ministry but it is not always shared with AAC members. It should be. Well have links here enabling you to contact people for information and booklets. And, if any members have basic information for beginners theyd care to share please send to info@accessibilitynews.ca.
