Canada Needs Independent Blind Advocates (CNIBA)

This organization is a new website forum for advocates to use in holding the CNIB Accountable (CNIB A).

The time has come to provide a place for like minded people to come together on the topic of the CNIB and its monopoly. We don't need to argue within advocacy groups as to whether or not the CNIB should be held accountable for its domination over issues of blindness in Canada.

The Canadian Council of the Blind, Canadian Federation of the Blind, and Advocates for Equality of Blind Canadians can put to rest their sometimes unconstructive debate on the topic of the CNIB. These organizations can go on advocating for better universally designed provisions in society while we discuss frustrations with the CNIB, discuss actions to take on making the CNIB accountable, and discuss better service details which the CNIB should consider in providing services.

This forum will not censure people's comments, but the forum will not put up with any type of discrimination and swearing.
